Who Am I?

Hello, I am Daniel, the creator of Cornbread Journals. Originally from New England, my adventurous spirit was born out of my love for exploring my small town and neighboring areas on my bike. I am grateful for all the opportunities I have had and seized to go see different parts of the country and world. I find that all my diverse experiences in life have helped me grow and thrive. I share these experiences in the hope that they will inspire the next daring explorer!

I have too many interests and hobbies to list. The world itself interests me. I like to play piano, hike, mountain bike, fly model planes and helicopters, ride motorcycles, make artwork (pastels, wood carving), lift weights, tinker with electronics, travel, read, and study all sorts of topics like mathematics, computers, history, and literature. I’ve worked as an engineer, writer, tutor, scientist…

I enjoy getting engrossed into my world of creative hobbies and tinkering projects. The modest achievements these bring are priceless to me and I cherish them. This website is one of such projects! I use this website as my own Internet island – an expressive medium for fun stories, and one where I can write more nuanced essays to help understand myself and develop my views more.

Enjoy the website, enjoy the tranquility of not being spammed by ads or other nonsense.

And do write to me! I monitor the email regularly. :)

Cheers,

Daniel
